Alpha Everyone is welcome! People attend from many different backgrounds, religions and viewpoints. They attend for a variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death. Still others may have attended church all their life, but feel they never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. This class will be held at Pastor Ron's house and includes a meal. Donations for the meal will be accepted. We will have a cost for materials very shortly. |

Disciplines of the Holy Spirit This seminar/workshop, "Disciplines of the Holy Spirit" will afford us a unique opportunity for our personal spiritual formation. Spiritual formation is the process of shaping our spiritual life. Because the human spirit is the motivating force of life, the result of spiritual formation has a positive impact on our emotional life and actions. From the outset, we should understand that gaining a knowledge of the disciplines, in and of themselves, will not bring you closer to God or cause you to grow into the image of Christ. Through the practice of the disciplines we make ourselves available to God, which will make it possible for us to live like Jesus and do the works Jesus did.
